A visionary and a grafter. A storyteller and a dreamer. Two very different gifts, woven together by a shared love for God, people, creativity and the beauty of everyday life.

For more than three decades, our journey has taken us through ministry, pioneering, creativity, writing, speaking, hospitality and community. Along the way, we have discovered that some of the most sacred spaces aren’t necessarily buildings or destinations, but places where people can pause, belong, breathe, create, laugh, worship and encounter God.

For fourteen years we had the privilege of pioneering The Garden of Dreams—a creative, contemplative community centred around a converted milking parlour. What began as a vision grew into a living tapestry of prayer, allotments, creativity, artisan gatherings, a not-for-profit coffee shop, sacred spaces and countless friendships.

Talitha brings the vision, words and prophetic imagination; Paul brings the practical hands, steadfastness and fatherly warmth that help turn ideas into something tangible. Together we love creating environments that feel welcoming, beautiful, authentic and rooted in the presence of God.

Although the Garden of Dreams chapter came to an end, its heartbeat didn’t.

Eden’s Outpost is the next expression of that journey.

For now, it is a growing collection of writings, resources, stories, photography, creativity and gathered wisdom. In time, we hope it will also become a physical place of hospitality, retreat, prayer, creativity and rest.

At the heart of it all is our love for Father, Son and Holy Spirit and a desire to encourage others to discover the beauty of life lived in their presence.

We call it cultivating an inner Eden—learning to recognise God’s presence wherever we are, putting down deep roots, making room for wonder, and allowing His life to flourish within us.

The land may still be ahead of us.

The journey has already begun.

Friends, after years of pastoring—walking closely with people through faith, life and becoming—we now find ourselves in a new, unrushed season.

From this place, Eden’s Outpost is beginning to emerge from our hearts in a deeper way: a gentle offering rather than a programme; a space we hope to facilitate as the Spirit leads, where presence, creativity, faith and meaningful connection can unfold without pressure or performance.

For this season, our focus is on encouragement and walking alongside people in the places where life and faith meet. Sometimes that may be a conversation, a season of walking together, or simply creating space to listen, reflect, pray and discern what God may be doing.

And then, from time to time, there may be POP-UPS.

Spontaneous, missional gatherings and happenings that arise along the way—moments shaped by music, prayer, art, poetry, testimony, prophetic insight and faith-filled living.

They might involve shared food, creative expression, worship, a walk, a conversation, or simply being together. They may be small or unexpected, local or somewhere further afield. There is no fixed formula.

These are simply opportunities to make room—for listening, for rest, for joy, for friendship, and for the quiet work of God among those drawn along the path.

This is a slower rhythm.

A lighter hold.

An open invitation.

No pressure to attend. No programme to maintain. Just a willingness to notice what is emerging and, when the time feels right, gather and see what unfolds.
