“Christ in you, the hope of glory.”

The life of another within us
And perhaps this is where the whole journey becomes personal.
Jesus did not come merely to give us something to believe.
He came to bring us into communion with God.
“Abide in me, and I in you.”
Paul speaks of this mystery as Christ in you.
The Christian life is not simply trying harder to become a better person.
It is learning to receive the life of Christ within us.
His life becomes our life.
His love begins to shape our love.
His forgiveness begins to shape our forgiveness.
His generosity begins to shape our generosity.
We are no longer living merely from ourselves.
We are learning to live from Him.
