THE
WAY
OF
THE
LAMB
 

Love refuses the way of domination

 

Jesus could have established His Kingdom through power as the world understands power.

 

Instead, He chooses the way of the Lamb.

 

He kneels.

 

He serves.

 

He touches.

 

He forgives.

 

He welcomes.

 

He loves His enemies.

 

He refuses to answer violence with violence.

 

The Lamb becomes one of the most profound images of Jesus in Scripture.

 

Not because He is weak.

 

But because His strength is unlike the strength of the kingdoms of this world.

 

The way of Jesus is the way of self-giving love.

 

And He doesn’t simply invite us to admire this way.

 

He invites us to follow it.
